Active Learning – Day One

Since the back half of Term One, students have been meeting in their active learning  groups every Monday Form Time. During those sessions many have formed project ideas or deep learning questions that they are now following through. Today was the first of three day-off timetable days, where students were given the freedom to explore their own pathways. Teachers offered tutorials and support at school and many students went out into the community to find ideas and answers beyond the school grounds. Below are some pictures from the day – captured mainly in the media suite – however, they barely capture the diversity and varied nature of the activities undertaken across the day.
