Victoria University is hosting a Year 12 day on Thursday 30th June. This event is for students from the wider-Wellington area, designed to offer them a fresh and exciting look at their local university. The programme includes a session for all students about the importance of Year 12 for admission & scholarships, and general information about studying at Victoria, followed by the chance for students to choose from a selection of lively seminars on a variety of subjects. The video below was taken last year and gives a taste of what the day is about.
The day is targeted towards high achieving students who are very seriously considering university study as an option. This day clashes with Y12 health day, which has some very important workshops run by the Sexual Abuse Prevention Network. Should any Year 12 feel that they would still like to attend this day at Victoria University, please see Mr Cargill. Note, that next year Victoria University hosts a comprehensive open day which wil cover a lot of the same content.
