This year the school is doing Hairspray as our musical. It is a story of acceptance set in the early 60s based around the Corny Collins Show, dealing with segregation in America. The musical is about more than just racial acceptance though as there are themes of general acceptance, through characters like Tracy and Edna who represent all shapes and sizes. The cast of 85 have been working hard every Sunday afternoon learning songs and dances to put on stage when we open 31st May. It has been great to see the commitment from the cast members as this show gets assembled!
