On Thursday Mr South – the Principal’s Nominee – spoke to assembly to remind the Year Group of the NCEA rules and regulations that are important to be aware of. Full information about all these aspects is available in the NCEA handbook printed here. Mr South mentioned:
- Be clear about the assessments each course is entering you for and the due dates of these assessments by being aware of the subject course outlines.
- Appealing the judgement of a teacher – every student has this right and can fill out one of these forms to query their grade.
- Missed assessment process – if you have a legitimate absence, you need to fill out this form and hand to the Head of Faculty.
- Authenticity – all work submitted must be the student’s work. In the event of plagiarism, the assessment will get a Not Achieved.
If you have any questions, see any of the guidance team, or Mr South in his office next to B16.
