The Art Awards was another spectacular evening of success celebrating extra-curricular achievements in dance, kapa haka, polyclub, acting, media, visual arts, and music. Highlights of the evening included the many performances showcasing the students talents, like the Y11 Fashion Technology class modelling their creations this year. Notable nominees and winners from Year 11:

  • Kiya Basabas – Winner of Actor of the Year for her role of Natalie in All Shook Up and Nominated for Dancer of the Year
  • Hunter Giltrap – Nominated for Actor of the Year for his role of Earl in All Shook Up
  • Guinivere Peoples – Winner of Shakespearean Actor of the Year for her role as Bottom in the school’s entry into the Shelia Winn Shakespeare competition
  • Sturgis Ngatai – Winner of Kapa Haka Senior Boy of the Year
  • Rangiwaitatao Samson – Winnder of Kapa Haka Senior Girl of the Year
  • Grace Prior – Nominated for Media Person of the Year
  • Gus Mawby – Nomianted for Behind the Scenes Person of the Year
  • Stella Lu – Nominated for Senior Musician of the Year
