Browse Week

Last week was browse week. This is where we are encouraged to get out into the school during our non-contacts and observe our colleagues teaching and our students in different contexts. It is part of the staff’s ongoing Professional Learning, but also a great opportunity to see where the Y11s are at. I managed to spend time in over 30 of the Y11 classes, observing some incredible designs for new technologies in Graphics, some impressively fluent speaking in the Languages, tasted some delicious slice in Food Technology, learnt about greenhouse gases and rising ph levels in the ocean in Science, discovered the upcoming plan for the Intermediate Market Day in Economics, and much much more. There in so much diverse learning going on – it was a privilege to see it in action!
