As a special holiday treat, the Newlands College Blog has made it into the finalists for the Interface Magazine Awards for ‘Best Class Blog’.
It’s appropriate to take a moment to send a huge thank you to everyone who has been involved in the blog, from the senior management at Newlands College who helped lift it from its formative stage, to the staff who have supported, to all the readers, and – most importantly – the students who the blog celebrates and whose voice it carries.
There are four other finalists; their blogs are exceptional and contin some real inspiration. There’s also another local finalist from Raroa! Check them out:
- Simon Ashby, Hampden Street School – Room 5’s Class Blog
- David Ballantyne, Turaki Primary School – Room R Blog
- Stephen Eames, Raroa Normal Intermediate – Room 19 Raroa Learning Log
- Juliet Revell, Maraekakaho School – Marvin’s iKids
