After School Tutoring

The Newlands College After School Tutoring is a group set up to assist students who require or want some help in their subjects. The program is run by students for students so anyone can become a tutor and anyone from any year level can come along to the sessions. At the moment, there is a two week rotational roster of all the subjects being tutored but all the core subjects e.g. Maths and English are available most days throughout the week but as people become more involved, we hope to have the other subjects more frequent.  There is a Facebook page with regular updates on what’s going on & study tips etc. Also, if students cannot make it in on a particular day, they can post up their question and queries or message us and someone will be in touch with them.
